  2. These underground shots are so cool. I once talked to a structural engineer who worked for the TTC during the construction of the subway. He told me that the unique smell of the subway is actually wet concrete. Apparently, the volume they pour is so great that it takes decades to cure and completely harden and a some of the water seepage is actually from the concrete. I have no idea if that is factual, but that’s what he said. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
