Beautiful image! A couple of factors really intrigue me. One is the way in which you have used a “tilted” angle to make it a really interesting composition. I saw you do that as far back as your shots of the Don river, the Bank and a few subsequent images.
The other intriguing factor in this one of Freezing Rain, is the colour. While this Rain feels as “cold” as any I have experienced, the strongest colour in the image is a really warm one. I would have said, “It just won’t work”; but you made it work extremely well. I sense some “outside the box” thinking here that I would like to know more about.
Incidentally, I really enjoyed your other image of freezing rain a few days ago. It is especially interesting to compare these two images of what is essentially the same subject. For some time, I have been amazed by your versatility in treating quite different genres; now this presents a similar versatility with just one type of subject matter.
The broad horizon of your perception seems as limitless as your ability to express what you perceive. Well done, Charles!
