  1. Nice capture, Charles. Well done!
Did you use some image manipulation, or was this just the way you came across the subject?

Your work in this genre is so good, I just couldn’t resist making that comment any longer. So, I have a warp, sorry.
Anyway, another really great image, Thanks.

  2. spooky! :)

actually i’ve wanted to ask also, how do you post-process these images. on some pictures it looks like USM with 5 pixel radius is used. am i on the right track?

  3. Hey Ron, thanks :)

    Hi Sepp.
I’m not sure what you mean by USM with 5 pixel radius. To me USM can stand for two things; One for Ultra Sonic Motor which is what drives my Canon Lens. Second for UnSharp Mask which is a PhotoShop filter for sharpening images.
If you meant UnSharp Mask then yes you are on the right track. I have used that filter to sharpen the image a bit. And the rest is a simple double exposure done in PhotoShop using layers. If there’s anything else you’d like to know don’t be shy to ask.

  4. Nice work. I like how this looks like a still from some kind of horror movie. Great feeling of tension in the image.
